In June this year, Armenia Airways announced that it would connect Delhi with Yerevan effective July 15. The flight by the two aircraft airlines never began operations going by airport websites of Delhi, Yerevan and data from Flightradar24. Delhi airport, though, has managed to sign up another Armenian carrier to start flights to Delhi from November. The airline’s name being very similar to the previous one, Armenia Airlines is scheduled to start services effective Nov 15, as reported by Aeroroutes.
The flights will operate on Tuesdays and Fridays, at below timings

The airline has two A321ceo in its fleet, both configured with 220 economy class seats.
This is a brilliant win for Delhi Airport where it managed to attract an airline from Armenia, which could not start operations but could manage to get another airline to announce and hopefully start. The connectivity to countries of former Soviet Republics is at an all time high with flights to Moscow, Minsk, Dushanbe, Almaty, Tashkent, Bishkek, Ashgabat, Baku, Tbilisi and now Yerevan. Delhi was connected to Kiev, pre-war. Moldova remains the only country from the 15 former Soviet Union states to not be connected to Delhi, ever. Likewise, the Baltic states do not have connectivity to India, though trade with Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania is growing rapidly. Delhi airport should cross the 150 destinations mark in the next couple of quarters.
Armenian Airlines started operations in December 2022 and its first destinations were all in Russia, before expanding to Batumi in neighbouring Georgia and now a long leap of faith with flights to Delhi.

In 2022, the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between India and Armenia was celebrated. Armenia maintains an embassy in Delhi. Armenia has an e-visa for Indians.
