Air India has announced the addition of 174 weekly flights on domestic and short-haul international routes, operated by the A320 family as part of Northern Winter Schedule which begins October 26, 2025. The most notable additions are flights to Kuala Lumpur and Bali which will operate 10x weekly from current daily.
Additional flights to Kuala Lumpur are effective November 15, 2025 and help reduce the night halt in Kuala Lumpur on some days of the week.

Exactly two years after Vistara launched flights to Denpasar, Bali from Delhi, Air India is adding frequency which will make it 10 weekly flights. The airline is changing frequency to Bali as well, but the Delhi – Bali departures have been adjusted to have two flights on the same days of the week. These flights are effective December 01, 2025.

The airline is likely to complete its retrofit program before the end of this month. It was originally intended to be over by June 2025, which was further extended to September 2025 with a new target of October. Only 27 legacy A320neo had to be retrofitted which has taken over an year with the work being done at three places, Hosur, Nagpur and Hyderabad. When done, the airline will have a significant number of its fleet in standardised three class layout allowing swaps of planes and better operational efficiency and offerings.
